Modern, variable turbine turbos such as Garrett's VNT™ (Variable Nozzle Turbine) and Holset's VGT™ (Variable Geometry Turbocharger), are highly complex. Remanufacture of these turbos is extremely difficult and consistant calibration to OE Car manufacturers specification is only possible by the respective turbo manufacturer who have invested considerable costs for the machinery.
